JOHN F KENNEDY
John F. Kennedy was born into a Irish-American family. Overcoming any limitations of health and doubt about his personal goals, he did achieve, by battling many times for his presidency. He Selected Senator Lyndon B. Johnson to be running with him. At the age of forty-three he became the youngest man to reach the white house.
Back from the war, he became a democratic congressman from the Boston area. He married Jacqueline Bouvier.
In 1955, he wrote Profiles in Courage, which won the Pulitzer Prize in history.
His
Inaugural Address offered the memorable quote "Ask not what your country can do for you--ask what you can do for your country." As a president, he was set our to redeem his campaign to get America moving again. His economic programs launched the country on its longest expansion since WWII, before he passed away he had plans for a big assault on privation and poverty.
